We have been learning all about the Beatles. We went on a fabulous trip to the Beatles Museum at the Albert Dock.

Year 3’s new Learning Challenge topic is ‘How far can you throw your shadow?’ We have been learning about how shadows are formed and how they change depending on the distance of the sun/ light source.
Today we learnt how to Chinese ribbon dance.

In our English books we’ve been reading about Kings, Queens and castles and in learning challenge about rocks… so what better reason is there to visit a real life castle. Today we went to Denbigh castle in Wales.
For DT week we created our own healthy pizzas.
In learning challenge we are learning about the copper age, today we made pots, weaponry and tools from the copper age with play doh.
Aspirations week @ Faith. We made a pop up shop to sell our moon dust we bravely gathered from our trip to the moon, we had Mr Williamson in the stocks and throughout the week had lots of special guests speaking about their careers and why they choose them.
